Unicom 5G Offers Help to the Smart International Horticultural Expo

Beijing Unicom， relying on the whole network service system and its IT service capabilities，guarantees the Yanqing International Horticultural Expo（IHE） in 2019 with the frontier communication technology and professional service team，and injects strong new momentum into the IHE．

As one of the three major operators in China，China Unicom took the lead in introducing 5G medical services for theIHE．Through 12 macro stations and 112 light pole stations，China Unicom opened a green way of life for theIHE to Yanqing Hospital of the Third Hospital of PekingUniversity．At an important moment，Unicom has never been absent． It has providedimportant garantees for the Olympic Games，the Belt and Road Summit Conference and the two sessions． In order to make everything go well， China Unicom provides an important service guarantee forIHE’s 8 door security inspection and public security video surveillance．

China Unicom makes every effort to build 5G exhibition hall，through historical inheritance plus5G， shows the past， present and future of communication development，and describes the convenient and beautiful blueprint of life that the future 5G industry application will bring to people．

The exhibition hall is divided into fourareas， which show the development of communication from the aspects of “history”，“5G experience”，“5Gplus medical treatment”，“5Gplus tourism”，and highlight the great changes that the 5G era will bring to the future work and life．As the leading operator in Beijing，Beijing Unicom is accelerating the transformation of the network， realizing the intelligence and automation of the network，and striving to build a 5G network with advanced technology and powerful efficiency．

This exhibition hall takes the 100－year history of Beijing Unicom as the theme，through the development of Beijing’s telecommunications industry as the main line，expounds the history，development and important position of Beijing Unicom in the history of China’s telecommunications in various historical periods．Since 1880， China has established the General Telegraph Administration．In 1883，for the first time in Beijing，there were telecommunications organizations and businesses．At the beginning of March 1949，the central organs of the Party moved from Xibaipo， Pingshan County，Hebei Province to Xiangshan，Beiping Telecom Bureau set up a communication network in Fragrance Hill，Badadu，Yuquan Mountain and Qinglong Bridge．In April 1949， Chairman Mao Zedong and Commander－in－Chief Zhu De in Shuangqing Villa， which was located in Fragrance Hill，issued the “Order toMarch into theWholeCountry” to the PLA through that network． Theyordered the PLAto go across the Yangtze River and liberate the whole country． With the birth of the new China， the Special Telephone Bureau of Xiangshan will be remembered forever． Beiping Telecom Bureau is also the predecessor of Beijing Unicom． From a historical point of view， it shows that Beijing Unicom has experienced a century of history．

In addition， Beijing Unicom also exhibited more than 10 products and solutions in the 5G industry application scenario， including UAV monitoring in the field of travel，MR spectacles remote preoperative case discussion in the medical field，remote ECG diagnostic system in health institutions，5G plus4K in the field of media and entertainment，AR scenic aided explanation in the field of culture and tourism，and skiing game interaction．Through explanation，demonstration and interaction， the 5G network construction of Beijing Unicom and diversified industry application services with partners from all walks of life are fully demonstrated， and the 5G ecological capacity of Beijing Unicom from terminal to platform，from content to application is fully demonstrated．
