The Exhibition Garden of British

The British Exhibition Garden at the Beijing Horticultural Exposition will be a showcase and celebration of the importance of nature in our daily life and will be a wonderful space where everyone can enjoy contemplation, meditation, relaxation and fun. It will also embrace the theme of “Innovation for a Green Future” and provide a platform for discussing the critical importance of green innovation and technology in addressing global challenges.

Visitors will pass through a natural forest filled with traditional British woodlands, an aromatic garden full with roses and other fragrant flowers, and a colorful grassland, which has easy-to-sport green grass and beautiful flowers used to attract pollinators vital to the food chain.

Looking forwarding to the future, visitors will learn how to use herbs and flowers in food and beverages, how to transform urban space into planting and entertainment sites, bring the natural world into modern cities, and encourage people to live in a more sustainable way at home, and encourage them to reuse, renew or recycle their products.

The spectacular waterscape at the garden center and the sculptures that British artists make in the natural forest will integrate art and nature into one and become natural.

The Pavilion in the Garden will host exhibitions and activities of the British Garden Cultural Heritage, cooperation in plant conservation between the UK and China over the past two centuries, and new technologies and innovative practices to address environmental challenges. The ‘Living Lab’ area will show visitors new methods and techniques of horticulture and food production.

The Botanic Bar will offer the best gin and non-alcoholic handmade drinks in the world. The drinks are high-quality beverages whose making is based on a long tradition of using infusion, skilled mixing and fermentation of natural ingredients.

The UK will showcase a splendid series of cultural and business events focusing on the UK’s sustainability and innovation advantages. British Exhibition Garden will also hold national celebrations to present the iconic aspects of British cultural and historical heritage, including music, cuisine and creative arts.
