The Exhibition Garden of Palestinian

05-28/2019

When overlooked, the Palestinian Exhibition Gardenis a regular square, with a low stone wall at the front edge. The wall is smooth, which realizes the ingenious combination of line and surface. The front and back of the wall and the upper and lower design are concave and convexin order. The other three sides are green planting walls trimmed from low shrubs. Several metasequoia trees are well-proportioned and dotted on the green planting walls, which are scattered in a beautiful way.

The main entrance of the Exhibition Garden is located at the intersection of the stone wall and the green planting wall. On the right side of the entrance stands the national flag of China and Palestine, which symbolizes the friendly and harmonious relationship between China and Palestine. The design inspiration of the Palestinian Exhibition Garden entrance comes mainly from the Damascus Gate, the main entrance and exit channel in Jerusalem. On the opposite side of the main entrance is the interior exhibition area built with Jerusalem as the prototype. The top of the building is a yellow round roof, which fully reflects the characteristics of the Palestinian architecture and religious beliefs, and highlights the profound history and culture of Palestine. Jerusalem is a place where all kinds of civilizations and cultures blend. The design of this building is based on Jerusalem, which reflects its vital position in the hearts of the Palestinian people. Therefore, visitors can take this opportunity to get in close contact with Jerusalem.

Entering the magnificent and rather Arab-style gate, visitors will be in the pure land with bright colors and profound cultural connotations. Entering the gate, visitors set foot on a broad stone road, which is the main road connecting the entrance of the Exhibition Garden and the indoor exhibition area. Taking this as the axis, the right side of the Exhibition Garden presents a feeling of flowing water under a small bridge as a whole. First of all, it is a clear lake, with an elegant and unique bridge in the middle of the lake. On the other side of the lake, there are several palm trees standing on the lawn, and across the bridge is a beige stone road leading to the indoor exhibition area. On the left side of the stone road, there is a pine tree. The trees are surrounded by colorful flowers. On the right side, there is a flagstone path, which is made of rectangular flagstone paved on the lawn. At the end of the flagstone path, there is a small fountain. Returning to the beige-white stone road, you can see another fork in the road when you are going on. Go straight along this fork in the road and you can see the pavilion for visitors to relax. Looking from afar, there are many vertical and horizontal paths on the right side of the Exhibition Garden as a whole. The roadside is full of colorful flowers, making visitors linger and forget to return.

On the left side of the main road, three exquisitely carved stone pillars are placed along the road, and two metasequoia trees stand between the two pillars, giving people a sense of staggered and uneven. In addition, a pavilion for visitors to rest and relax is built in the center of the left side. Two vigorous rectangular lawns are distributed on both sides of the road leading to the pavilion. They are surrounded by round low shrubs and decorated with tall metasequoia. The plant shapes are different and the layout complements each other. The various plants and flowers in the Palestinian Exhibition Garden fully reflect the ecological and cultural concept of the Palestinian people's desire to achieve harmonious coexistence between man and nature and sustainable development.

In the Exhibition Garden, there are various kinds of unique folk products, handicrafts and various souvenirs. Visitors can not only appreciate the gorgeous ancient civilization and folk culture, but also deeply feel the pursuit and aspiration of the Palestinian people for a better life.
