05-28/2019

The Pakistani Garden “Mughal Empire” refers to the concept of gardens and landscapes in the sub-continental region, and integrates the essence of various gardens and landscapes, such as Sharimar Garden, Hassouri Garden, Hiran Light Tower and Sahi Garden. Lahore has become a garden city because of its rich heritage. The “Mughal Empire” exhibits the rich elements of the Mughal Garden and shows Pakistan’s rich traditional culture. Mughal Garden is inspired by Persian Garden. Its prototype is the paradise garden mentioned in the Koran, and it is a spiritual symbol. In the paradise garden far from the noise, all kinds of natural and man-made elements touch every feeling. The pleasant song of birds and the gurgling sound of running water are echoing in the garden, making people calm. Fruits and flowers in the garden bring both visual and olfactory enjoyment. The path of the Mughal Garden reflects the geometric design. Religious and ecliptic elements are also reflected here. The exhibition of the Pakistani Garden contains the basic elements of the traditional Mughal Garden. The whole exhibition garden is geometric and divided into several parts. The garden also contains elements, such as the common viewing platform and the water flow running through the exhibition garden in the Mughal Garden. The exhibition garden is rich in layers, symmetrical, regular and harmonious.
