Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Song & Dance Troupe

Founded in 1957, the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Song & Dance Troupe of Qinghai Province has created the song-and-dance drama Going on an Expedition and the dance Good Wine, etc. successively since its establishment. The Troupe participated in the celebration performance of the 30^th Anniversary of the National Holiday in 1979. In 1991, the Ministry of Culture chose it to visit many Latin American countries and gave a performance with its works including Auspicious Dance by the Tontianhe River and Gusu Dance, etc. The Chinese folk songs and dances with unique regional features and national characteristics were well received by Latin Americans. Representative works: Tibetan dances including Charming Yushu, Cool Kangba People, Prince of Snow Leopard and Yushu Will Never Forget.
