Yulin Institute of Civil Art

As an art group engaged in excavating, reorganizing, processing and exhibiting folk art in North Shanxi and protecting cultural ecology, Yulin Folk Art Research Institute has created and performed masterpieces full of unique local characteristics and spirit of the age, having visited many countries and regions successively. The large-scale North Shanxi featured yangko opera - Mizhi Women and Suide Men as created and performed by the Institute has won 7 outstanding opera awards in the Fifth Shanxi Provincial Art Festival. It has also performed in the Ninth China Art Festival and won the special award of the Thirteenth Wenhua Award. Representative works: dances North Shanxi Yangko and North Shanxi Waist Drum.
