The Living Experience Pavilion

As one of the main pavilions of the Internaitonal Horticultural Expo, the Living Experience Hall, according to the exhibition concept of “love gardening, love life”, combines several ways, such as static display, dynamic display, vision, hearing and interactive experience, centres on the plant diversity, coffee, tea, and traditional crafts so that visitors can experience gardening in clothing, food, housing, use, entertainment and health, and makes them experience that horticulture lets life become better. In the Living Experience Pavilion, visitors can also experience the herbal culture, understand the regional characteristics and industrial achievements of Yanqing, the host city, experience the interrelationship between meteorology, aerospace, and horticulture and life, experience the novelty and fantasy of horticulture encountering science and technology, and design our own horticultural living space by ourselves. With horticulture as the medium, people are guided to respect, conform to and protect nature.

The exhibition area of the Living Experience Pavilion is 9400 square meters. It is divided into four major exhibition areas, including preface hall, popular science horticulture exhibition area, living horticulture exhibition area and special horticulture exhibition area.

The exhibition area of the preface hall is 680 square meters. The entrance of the pavilion and the space of the preface hall are skillfully used to create a gardening landscape ramp along the zigzag road. Visitors walk slowly along the ramp from the first floor to the second floor to appreciate the different theme plants along the way and enhance their deep impression of horticulture.

The exhibition area of the popular science horticulture exhibition area is 1910 square meters, located on the second floor of the Living Experience Pavilion. The exhibition area will take the application of Chinese herbal medicine in people’s life for thousands of years as the main line, combining modern multimedia means and providing visitors with herbal culture and medicinal plant application demonstrations, such as the panoramic experience of herbal landscape, the virtual-real comparison of authentic medicinal materials, and the scene reproduction processing of traditional Chinese herb.

The exhibition area of livinghorticulture exhibition area is 3120square meters. Relevant enterprises are organized to take the form of rotation exhibition. Through the creation of artistic conception of living space and the landscape expression of enterprise exhibition,itexhibits new and excellent horticultural varieties and products, cutting-edge horticultural techniques and concepts in the world, exhibits the regional characteristics and industrial achievements of Yanqing, and interacts with meteorology, aerospace and horticulture,andlife and horticulture.

The exhibition area of the special horticulture exhibition area is 3690square meters.There are four special exhibitions, namely“arts and crafts”,“teafromall over the world”,“coffee life”and“green future”.Visitorswill experience gardening in clothing, food,housing, use, entertainment, health and other aspects of application, experience gardening to make life better.
