Xinjiang Vice Chairman Arken Tuniyaz inspects the autonomous region’s exhibition preparation work for Beijing Expo 2019

On February 25, 2019, Arken Tuniyaz, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and vice chairman of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, led some officials from the people’s government and the forestry and grassland department of the autonomous region to conduct a field survey at the Expo Site of Beijing Expo 2019, during which he inspected and instructed the construction and indoor exhibition preparation of the Xinjiang Garden. The Xinjiang delegation was accompanied by Wang Jun, deputy secretary-general of the Beijing municipal government, Zhou Jianping, executive director general of Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Coordination Bureau (BIHECB), Cai Baojun, deputy head of Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau, Wang Chuncheng, deputy director general of BIHECB and heads of relevant departments of BIHECB.

During the survey, Tuniyaz learned in detail the construction of the Xinjiang Garden and the preparation of its indoor exhibitions.

So far, the main structures of the Xinjiang Garden and the design for indoor exhibitions of the Xinjiang Zone at the China Pavilion have been completed. The next step is to carry out decoration and landscape installation projects. Tuniyaz spoke highly of the progress in the construction of the Xinjiang Garden and the preparation of indoor exhibitions, and put forward specific suggestions on issues such as planting, landscaping and relief design.
