Ticket Media CenterOn the afternoon of December 3, 2018, when Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Panama, Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Coordination Bureau (BIHECB) organized an event to promote Beijing Expo 2019 at the China (Panama) Brands Exhibition 2018 in Panama City, capital of Panama. The mascots of Beijing Expo 2019, Xiaomengya and Xiaomenghua, were presented as gifts to Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela at the presidential dinner, at which representatives from BIHECB expressed warm welcome to relevant Panamanian institutions and people to display at or visit Beijing Expo 2019.

The China (Panama) Brands Exhibition 2018 opened on December 2 in Panama City, attended by 26 Chinese enterprises including China COSCO Shipping Corporation Ltd., Bank of China, Air China, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG), Huawei, and iFlytek. The exhibition, sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and organized by China Chamber of International Commerce, ran through December 6. Exhibitors came from areas like financial service, automobile, shipbuilding, artificial intelligence, mobile internet, electronics, and construction machinery. It is estimated that the exhibition attracted some 20,000 visitors.

At present, Beijing Expo 2019 has solicited domestic and international exhibitors more than expected. It has fulfilled its goal of attracting 100 governmental exhibitors and 100 nongovernmental exhibitors. A total of 110 countries and international organizations including Britain, Germany, Japan, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) have confirmed in written to attend the Expo. National gardens of some countries, the International Garden, and gardens of all 31 Chinese provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have begun construction, with some gardens already taking shape.
