Ren Zhizhong, Director of the Forestry Department of Yunnan Province Arrived at the Park Area of Beijing Expo 2019 to Supervise the Construction of Yunnan Garden

Ren Zhizhong, Director of the Forestry Department of Yunnan Province, led a team to the park area of Beijing Expo 2019 and supervised the construction of Yunnan Garden on the site on October 29. Deng Naiping, the Secretary of Party Group of Beijing World Horticultural Expo Coordination Bureau and Director of Beijing Gardening and Greening Bureau, Zhou Jianping, the Executive Deputy Director of Beijing World Horticultural Expo Coordination Bureau, Xia Liuchang, Deputy Director of the Forestry Department of Yunnan Province, and heads of relevant departments of Beijing World Horticultural Expo Coordination Bureau accompanied the team.

Later, the team of Director Ren Zhizhong got to the construction site of Yunnnan Garden to learn the details of the progress of the project. So far, such works as the waterproof processing of the roof at the entrance, the welding of the steel frame, the painting for romantic themed brick carving and wood carvings on the ancient style structure, the painting for such wooden structure as pillars, beams, brackets and so on, the welding of the steel frame of the wooden bridge and the jointing of the water landscape with the bank have been completed. Currently, the planting of shrubs and lawns, the painting of ancient style architecture, wood carvings, and wood structures, the installation of steel structure of the roof at the entrance, and daily maintenance work of the is in progress. 89% of the total project has been completed and it is expected that the Yunnan Garden will be completed in November.
