I am crying for you and I am proud of you...”The songs full of power and grandeur resound at the foot of the great wall. The flash mob chorus activity themed on“Gather in the Name of Flower at the Foot of the Great Wall”hosted by Beijing World Horticultural Exposition Coordination Bureau, co-hosted by the Publicity Department of Yanqing District Committee and the Yanqing Preparation Office for Beijing Expo 2019 and organized by Office of Baidaling Special Region staged here. The activity at the foot of the Great Wall is the second flash mob activity after the one at Beijingxi Railway Station on September 29.

Theme Landscape of Beijing Expo 2019 Makes it Debut in Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area

On the eve of the National Day, the Guancheng Square of Badaling Great Wall was crowded with visitors. In the costume with the emblem of the Expo Beijing 2019 “Flower of the Great Wall”and holding the national flag and the flag for the Expo, university students from the choir of Beijing Forestry University sang out I Love You China and the golden song for the Expo Please Bring My Green Back Your Home. Meanwhile, the mascots “Xiao Mengya” and “Xiao Menghua” for Beijing Expo 2019 danced with the melody. The inspiring or melodious singing and the charmingly naive mascots brothers and sisters suddenly attracted the attention of tourists. The stopped their footsteps and raised their mobile phones to take photos. In waves and waves of cheers and applause, the atmosphere reached climax.

It is worth mentioning that several spectacular light shows will be staged in Beijing from September 28th to October 7th to express the love for China. The night of Beijing will be lighted up by “I Love You China” Light Shows of different forms at 11 locations to create a beautiful night scenery of the capital city during the National Day holiday. The locations include Yongdingmen Rostrum, Financial Street, China World Trade Center Tower 3, The Place, Huaxi Square at Wukesong, and so on. The one at Badaling Great Wall is a highlight of the light shows. Focusing on “I Love You China”, laser is projected on the Badaling Great Wall to pave out red carpet, flowers symbolizing the Beijing Expo 2019, snowflakes representing the Winter Olympics and pictures showing the Chinese nation and Chinese spirit to provide a visual feast to the passersby and visitors. The show will last to October 3.
