100 Exhibitors! Beijing Expo 2019 Achieves Goal for International Participants

The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing (Beijing Expo 2019) has completed its goal of 100 international exhibitors. This could not have been possible without the leadership of the Organizing Committee and Executive Committee, the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Flower Association and the relevant units of Beijing, and the joint efforts of the leaders and employees of Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Coordination Bureau.

By the end of August 14, 100 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation, including 80 countries and 20 international organizations. Among them, 73 countries and international organizations will participate in the outdoor exhibition, and 27 have signed up for the indoor exhibition. At present, another 11 countries and international organizations have expressed clear intentions for participation. The Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Coordination Bureau will continue to carry out targeted exhibitor promotion. It is expected that more countries and international organizations will confirm their participation.

The countries and international organizations that have done so are planning to build 36 outdoor exhibition parks, including 29 independent exhibition parks and 7 joint exhibition parks. Of these, 42 exhibitors have commenced the construction, and the others are in the course of designing and preparations.

In the next stage, while deepening the international exhibitor promotion, the bureau will endeavor to safeguard the construction of the exhibition parks, the indoor exhibition and the exhibition services, so as to ensure a complete success.
