Ticket Media CenterBelgian Minister of Agriculture Mr. Denis Ducarme, Belgian Ambassador to China Marc Vinck and their entourage paid a visit to the park of Beijing Expo 2019 on the afternoon of January 28, 2018.
At the meeting, Wu Gang, deputy director of the Coordination Bureau of Beijing Expo 2019, briefed the Belgian delegation on the Beijing Expo 2019, the planning and layout of the Expo, the content of exhibition and the state participation, and extended welcome and thanks to the Belgian delegation for participating in the Expo.
Mr. Denis Ducarme expressed his deep gratitude for the warm and cordial reception hosted by the Coordination Bureau of the Expo, expressed his heartfelt admiration for the preparations of Beijing Expo 2019 and said that China is the first country he visited after taking office as the agriculture minister. China and Belgium have a profound friendship and close exchange and cooperation. He hoped that Belgium can showcase the innovative technologies in horticulture and representative works at the Beijing Expo 2019, and that China and Belgium enhance exchanges and cooperation in agriculture and horticulture.
Afterwards, deputy director Wu Gang accompanied the Belgian delegation to visit the parks of the Expo and inspected the plot of intention. The Belgian delegation said great importance was attached to the Beijing Expo 2019. After the general representative of the Belgian pavilion determines the location of the plot, Belgium will sign the contracts as soon as possible according to the participation process.
