The International Trade Fair for Plants (IPM ESEEN) has been held in Eseen, the central city of Ruhr area in Nordrhein-Westfalen of western Germany, since 1983. As the world’s leading plant trade fair with the largest scale, highest level and greatest influence, it plays an important role in international horticulture. It is also the only world-class specialist trade fair that covers the entire value chain of plants, including production, technology, floristry, garden features, and the point of sale.
The trade fair is divided into 4 major parts: plant, floristry, technology and garden support equipment. It has 12 halls with a total covering area of 100,000 square meters.
2015, the 33rd edition of IPM ESEEN broke a new record: more than 1,600 exhibitors from around 50 countries attend the fair.
